Do I need a Consultation?

You do not need a consultation so long as you don’t have any contraindications . Being pregnant or breastfeeding, having uncontrolled medical issues, or existing cosmetic tattoos in the area you want done are just a few. Please see our full list of contraindications. 

Am I a canididate? 

If you currently have any of the following contraindications, unfortunately you can not have permanent makeup at this time. Please reach out to us if or when your condition(s) change.

Medical clearance is to be written on a prescription pad or Doctor’s letter head. Failure to provide documents prior to your appointment will result in a cancellation and you'll forfeit your deposit.

Auto Immune AND AllergY Concerns

I understand the importance of knowing what’s going into your body and I’m happy to offer full transparency. I pride myself on knowing what’s safe and easy on our bodies especially those who are having a rough go. For those concerned about trace metals and other ingredient found in traditional body ink, you can read everything these pigments are free from under pigments. Color essence is a clean pigment line made in Europe that goes through much more extensive safety screenings than pigments that are made in the US and safe for those with sensitive/ recovering bodies.  

We offer patch testing for $50 for anyone who is concerned about an allergy , however, the likelihood of having an allergy to raw materials is incredibly rare. PMU pigments and hair dye have no similarities in composition as one goes on hair, and the other is designed to be implanted in the skin.
